is a city located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The city is known as one of the industrial cities of Japan and "the rugby football town".
As of August 1, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 509,230 and a population density of 8,200 persons per km². The total area is 61.81 km².

The city was founded on February 1, 1967, by a merger of three cities, , and , in eastern Osaka Prefecture.
